Year 6 pupils take to the stage at inaugural Inter-House Drama competition

Year 6 pupils took to the stage on Thursday 6 June for the inaugural Inter-House Drama competition at St George's Junior School.

The competition was a pupil-led initiative set up by the School Councillors and there were two categories that the children could choose from, Own Choice Scenes or LAMDA exam scenes. The adjudicator for this event was professional actor, Lily Driver-Thurston.

The competition enabled the children to express themselves and showcase their creativity, whilst also developing their independent and group working skills, with rehearsals and script writing taking place in their own time.

After a hugely successful afternoon, with a very high standard of drama on show, the winning house was...OWLS. A big congratulations to all our performers!
