Year 6 finish their time at the Junior School with 'Magical Mystery Tour' Revue

Year 6 bowed out from St George's Junior School on a high at the end of June, as they put on one last show in the form of their end of year revue, Magical Mystery Tour.

Magical Mystery Tour brought together numerous famous characters from the worlds of mystery and magic, who had to join forces to defeat their arch enemies. The characters ranged from the Famous Five, Scooby Doo and Harry Potter, through to the new female Doctor Who.

The Year 6 Production Club provided an outstanding opening dance routine choreographed by Mrs Morgan and each class treated the audience to a class song. The show also included a stunning gymnastics routine choreographed by Mrs Henderson. Another highlight was an Irish Dance routine performed by Caitlin Carroll.

The production was written by Mr Lawson Lean, Mrs McIntyre and Mrs Morgan. Direction was by Mr Lawson Lean and Mrs McIntyre and Musical Direction was provided by Mr Hodgson. Mrs O’Connell once again created outstanding scenery for the show.

Year 6 gave a performance to remember, which delighted parents and was a credit to the wide range of skills in this talented year group.
