U14 boys' hockey stars crowned National Champions

St George's College is delighted to announce that after winning a thrilling final, the U14 Boys' hockey team were crowned National Champions on Tuesday 30 April!

The boys performed brilliantly throughout the competition, beating Clifton College 3-0 in their opening game before grinding out a 1-0 win over Ipswich School.

They then drew 1-1 with Altrincham Grammar in their final group game to finish top of Pool A on goal difference and secure their place in the final - where they came up against a strong Repton side.

The match finished 1-1 at full time and went into a shootout, where St George's prevailed 4-3 to claim the title.

A huge well done to the boys and to their coaches for all their hard work and a big thank you to all the parents who supported and cheered the boys on to victory!
