Third Years pushed to the limit at Army team building afternoon

Third Year students at St George's College were put through their paces on Friday 21 September, as they took part in a very enjoyable team building afternoon with the Army.

Head of Third Year, Oliver Clayson, was thrilled to have members from the Army come in and test the students' physical and mental strength and he has written a short report on the afternoon's activities.

"On Friday afternoon, the Third Year took part in a very special team building afternoon with the Army. It proved to be a very enjoyable and informative afternoon and posed many challenges to the students.

Their physical and mental attributes were put to the test and it was great to see the new students mix with their peers and throw themselves into the activities on offer. The Army officers also put on an inspirational presentation, which demonstrated the resolve and resilience shown by the army in the field and also behind the scenes in terms of training.

It gave rise to many mature questions from the year group and it was a pleasure to see the students so actively engaged. My thanks go to the army for providing such an enthralling afternoon."
