The College gathers together for the Ascension of the Lord

Students at St George's College gathered together for Mass on Thursday 10 May in order to celebrate the Ascension of the Lord.

For the Upper Years' service, it was an emotional final Mass for our Upper Sixth students and the Fifth Year students who start their study leave on Friday 11 May.

Then for the Lower Year's service, Fr Martin Ashcroft, CJ, College Chaplain was joined at the altar by Fr Richard and Fr Jude, as well as some students who were participating as Altar servers.

Accompanied by the College Choir, the students sang enthusiastically and learnt more about the Ascension of the Lord during Fr Martin's homily.

Fr Martin also took the chance to wish the Fifth Year students good luck for their upcoming exams, a sentiment echoed by the entire Georgian Family.
