Sixth Form students share knowledge about our founder
On Founder’s Day, 1 December, Sixth Form students from St George’s College, Weybridge, visited St George’s Junior School, Weybridge, to teach pupils about the Schools’ founder, Constant van Crombrugghe. In the morning, four students visited classes in the Early Years to give a lesson on the life of Constant van Crombrugghe to pupils who were eagerly listening.
After lunch, the pupils in Year 5 were treated to a special assembly from the College Captains. They learnt all about Constant van Crombrugghe’s early life, family, and what led him to found the Josephites and what it means for them today as students at St George’s. The assembly ended with a quiz on what the pupils had learnt about Constant van Crombrugghe, which resulted in a four way tie as all of the teams answered the questions correctly.
