Silent auctioneer named Georgian of the Week

(The front cover of the brochure that James has created)

This week’s Georgian of the Week (22 June), is Lower Sixth student and Silent Auctioneer, James Stonehouse.

James has single-handedly organised a phenomenal Silent Auction for Cancer Research and the Huntingdon’s Disease Association.

To do this, he contacted hundreds of companies and asked for donations and as a result he has produced a packed catalogue (see front cover above) with contributions from companies, ranging from Virgin Trains, to the Cobham Bookshop, to Gourmet Burger Kitchen. An obvious display of zeal from James and for very worthy causes.

Well done to James on this hugely impressive achievement and good luck for the auction!
