SGC Maths Quest Summer 2019: Crack the code - Solutions

St George’s College, Weybridge invited children from Years 5 and 6 at all local schools to take part in the SGC Maths Quest challenge - Crack the code.

Each Half Term, St George’s College provides a Maths problem for children from Years 5 and 6 to solve. All correct entries are displayed on the St George’s Weybridge website at www.stgeorgesweybridge.com

Here is the solution to the 'Crack the code' Maths Quest:

After going through the clues left by Miss Spendalot, you should have come up with the following cracked codes:

Lock 1: 7402

Lock 2: 5991

Lock 3: 5638

Miss Spendalot finally managed to open the safe with the help of the following super slueths:

Monty S and Lexie C (both from Bishopsgate School), Thomas F (Riverbridge Primary School) and 

Lucy D and Luke B (both from St George’s Junior School).
