SGC Maths Quest February 2020 Solutions

St George’s College, Weybridge invited children from Years 5 and 6 at all local schools to take part in the SGC Maths Quest challenge February 2020 - "Love is in the air".

Each Half Term, St George’s College provides a Maths problem for children from Years 5 and 6 to solve. All correct entries are displayed on the St George’s Weybridge website at

Here are the solutions to the Love is in the air Maths Quest.

  • a)William will need £125.50 to buy all 14 gifts.
  • b)He needs to make £25.50
  • c)He will earn £18 from walking the dogs.
  • d)The Queen paid Will £1.25 to clean each carriage.
