Runners up in U16 Surrey Hockey Trophy
On Wednesday 1st October the U16B hockey team finished as runners up of the U16 Surrey Hockey Trophy. They had an excellent day of hockey where they were the only B team playing in the round robin event.
After a slow start where they lost their opening game 3-1 to Roseberry the girls went on the achieve an excellent set of results. They battled hard to earn a 0-0 draw against eventual winner Gordon's in their second match and then beat Salesians, Nonsuch, Croydon High and Greenacre to finish in second place.
This was an excellent achievement on the same day in which the u16a team beat CLFS, Tormead and Epsom 3-0 in each match of their county cup heats to progress through to the Surrey Finals which will be held at the College on Tuesday 14th October.
