Musicians set the mood at special 'Lunchtime Love' concert
St George's College musicians set the mood on Thursday 14 February - Valentines Day - as they performed in a very special 'Lunchtime Love' concert.
With guests tucking into heart-shaped pizza slices and delicious cupcakes - made by our very own Fourth Year GCSE Food Tech students - College singers and instrumentalists put on an astounding performance.
There was a performance of Elgar's 'Chanson d’amour' from one of our Upper Sixth Music Scholars, a rendition of Saint-Saens' 'Romance' by a First Year Music Exhibitioner, as well as performances on the saxophone, flute, trumpet and a vocal performance.
It was a wonderful concert and really set the mood for this special day.
