Lower Years' Nativities provide festive cheer for everyone
From Wednesday 5 to Friday 14 December, boys and girls in the Lower Years at St George’s Junior School took part in their wonderfully festive Christmas Nativities and got everyone in the mood for Christmas.
Throughout the week, parents of children in the Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 gathered in the School Hall to watch the story of the birth of Jesus Christ told through storytelling, music and some very impressive dancing.
There was amusing camel costumes, sheep outfits, kings, shepherds, angels and lots of smiles on offer as the children had a thoroughly enjoyable time performing in front of their parents - some of our stars just couldn't stop smiling and waving at their parents!
The colourful costumes, beautifully decorated sets and hearty cheers and laughter from parents was a testament to the efforts of the Music staff, the set designer and the Lower Years’ staff, who have worked hard over the last few months to deliver what was a wonderful set of Nativity performances across all age groups. It truly is Christmas now!
