Sixth Form students go pink for cancer awareness month
Sixth Form students at St George’s College, Weybridge, held a Pink Friday on the 10 October 2014. Pink Fridays take place throughout October to raise funds and awareness for the charity Breast Cancer Care.

Champions at local area Maths challenge
A team of students from St George’s College, Weybridge, took part in and won the Area Maths Challenge at Sir William Perkins School on Tuesday 7 October. They pitted their wits against other schools in the area, solving many mathematical and logical puzzles in what proved to be a fun filled afternoon.

This week, Fifth Year students at St George’s College, Weybridge, took part in careers interviews with the external company Cambridge Occupational Analysts (COA).

Lest We Forget concert
On Friday 26th September, both choirs of St George’s College joined together with Clari Cantus, an award-winning choir for Leuven, Belgium, to put on a concert in commemoration of the WWI anniversary and to mark the start of the College’s own celebrations.

Runners up in U16 Surrey Hockey Trophy
On Wednesday 1st October the U16B hockey team finished as runners up of the U16 Surrey Hockey Trophy. They had an excellent day of hockey where they were the only B team playing in the round robin event.

British Food Fortnight
British Food Fortnight is a national celebration of our British food, and the health benefits and pleasures of eating quality, fresh, seasonal and regionally distinct produce. The 4th year GCSE Food and Nutrition students were set the challenge of preparing, making and presenting a range of traditional British dishes.
