Junior School Quizzers come out on top

Two teams of Junior School pupils, ranging from Years 3-6, battled it out at the General Knowledge Quiz Area Heat at Manor House School on Thursday 24 January.

After a short drive over to Manor House, the two teams got down to business and started prepping for the big quiz. There were 5 schools competing, with 2 teams each, and the quiz consisted of tricky questions worth 80-100 points, as well as 'relief' questions worth 20 points.

There were questions on national flags, dinosaurs and world population.

After a gruelling set of questions, both St George's teams were ready to find out who had come out on top. With nerves building it was announced that...St George's Junior School finished in 1st and 3rd place!

Both teams were delighted with the results, with the first placed team going on to compete in the Semi Finals.

Congratulations to all our quiz masters and good luck in the next round!
