History Club members become archaeologists for a day

This term the History Club at St George's Junior School, Weybridge, are learning about Ancient Civilisations starting with the Ancient Sumer. Chertsey Museum put on a fascinating workshop entitled ‘I am an Archeologist’ to help the pupils understand how archaeologists study the lives of ancient people from the remains of what they built or made. The pupils really enjoyed finding discovering ancient artefacts in sand, dating them and placing them chronologically in a timeline.
