George and the Dragon recreated as Lower Years celebrate St George's Day Mass

Pupils at St George's Junior School celebrated St George's Day on 23 April, in unison with their peers at the College.

During the Lower Years' Mass, the children learnt all about the Saint, what he was like, what he believed in and what he accomplished during his life. There was even some reenactments from some of the boys and girls who dressed up as St George himself, a princess and even a dragon!

The children were also in fine voice as they sang special hymns to commemorate our Patron Saint.
