GCSE Food students celebrate Chinese New Year
To celebrate Chinese New Year, the Fourth Year GCSE Food and Nutrition students at St George’s College, Weybridge set about with woks to produce a range of Chinese dishes.
The Year of the Sheep (also referred to as the year of the goat or ram) began on Thursday 19 February 2015.
The students had great fun making and presenting dishes such as sesame prawn toast, sweet and sour chicken, spring rolls, pork stir-fry, chicken chow mein, salt and pepper prawns and egg fried rice. They produced a fantastic display of food and enjoyed tasting the dishes afterwards.
Very tasty indeed.
