Fashion in Georgian times
As is now a very popular tradition at St George's Junior School, the new members of the History Club were treated to a fun and unique workshop on 'Fashion in Georgian Times'.
The Curators of Chertsey Museum visited the Junior School and spoke about the different styles worn by people in the Georgian era. As well as learning about the fashion of the time, the excited pupils then had the opportunity to dress up in authentic Georgian clothing. They wore special garments, they put on face paints and make up that was traditionally worn by men and women of the time, and they had a lot of fun doing it.
A special thanks must go to the Curators of Chertsey Museum for putting on this exciting workshop.
