Christmas Carols at Heath House

On Tuesday 5 December, Year 5 members of St George's Junior School Senior Choir went to Heath House care home in Weybridge with teachers from the Music Department to sing Christmas carols to the elderly people who live there.

Four pupils who sang on the day have written a brief report about the afternoon's activities:

"After walking to the House, we all dressed up with our Christmas hats and tinsel ready to sing. We started with some traditional carols, before handing out some percussion instruments for the residents to play and join in with. Everyone enjoyed singing and there was even a bit of dancing as well!

When we had finished singing, we were able to chat to the residents, who told us our singing had made them feel all ‘Christmassy’!

We would like to thank Mrs Rolon for helping to organise the visit. We loved it!"
