Celebration of Religious Education in local primary schools

Today (12 March 2015), nearly 300 primary school children from Reception to Year 6, from four local Catholic primary schools, attended a special celebration Mass at St George’s College, Weybridge.

The children came from St Charles Borromeo in Weybridge, Holy Family in Addlestone, St Anne’s in Chertsey and St George’s Junior School in Weybridge.

The Mass marked the culmination of a six week long programme in which over 100 Upper Sixth students from St George’s College taught Religious Education (RE) once a week in the primary schools.

The students had carefully and imaginatively prepared their lessons to follow the RE syllabus in each school.
