Careers interviews at the College

This week, Fifth Year students at St George’s College, Weybridge, took part in careers interviews with the external company Cambridge Occupational Analysts (COA). These interviews act as a stepping stone to our students’ future.

For the interviews COA analysed questionnaire data, which the students completed at the end of the last academic year. The COA representatives then gave the students an informed evaluation of where their strengths and weaknesses lie. This subsequently enables the students to make informed choices on their A-level subjects and beyond.

Each student is given a careers book and a folder packed full of information and an analysis of their questionnaire responses. The students will continue to have access to the career support from COA through to the end of their time at St George’s College and the rest of their academic studies. The Careers department are heavily involved in this process and will keep this information to support future guidance given to the students.
