Big buzz surrounding Year 3 performance of 'The Bee Musical'

There was a lot of buzz recently surrounding the Year 3 production of The Bee Musical on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 March at St George's Junior School.

Created by Niki Davies and Emma Davies, the show, with its poignant message about the importance of bees – and indeed the importance of everyone’s responsibility in the world – delighted audiences.

Members of the school Drama Club played the principal characters with confidence and enthusiasm. The rest of Year 3 played a choir of little bees who sang with energy and charm.

The production was directed by Mr David Lawson Lean, Mrs Emily Stather and Miss Nicola Worswick. The Musical Direction was by Mr Simon Lloyd and Mrs Sue Hooley-Smith, whilst Mrs Sara O’Connell provided the beautiful set design.

Year 3 gave an outstanding performance and treated family and friends to a truly memorable production.
