Academic Society Programme for Christmas Term 2018

As it's the start of the new academic year, St George's College Staff have announced a whole new Academic Society Programme for the Christmas Term 2018.

Introduced in September 2017, and open to all students from every year group, the aim of the programme is to deepen students' love of learning and to broaden their knowledge of each subject area so that they can experience a variety of wider topics beyond the curriculum. There are lectures by staff and indeed students who have special interests in particular areas, there are lectures by guest speakers, trips, workshops, films and practical activities – there's something for everybody!

Many of the College students have already taken up the offer and have participated in a number of special events over the past year.

To take a look at the programme, to see what’s on offer and most importantly – to take advantage of the wealth of opportunities offered to the students - please click HERE.

The College staff hope the students have a wonderful year ahead and enjoy the programme.
