St George’s Junior School offers more than 70 enrichment activities that complement the academic and sporting curriculum across both the Lower Years and Upper Years. These clubs are offered, with the exception of some dance classes that involve costs around preparation for exams, as part of the normal school fees.

The majority of these clubs take place after school and some during lunchtimes. Children are encouraged to apply for clubs and activities that suit them best.

Children in Years 1 and 2 are invited to attend a maximum of two after school clubs and children in Years 3 - 6 may apply for up to three after school clubs. Lunchtime clubs are unlimited. The Junior School generally encourages children, who have signed up to clubs, to honour their choices until the end of that term hence encouraging perseverance and commitment.

We endeavour to offer as wide a choice as possible and to encourage a balance of activities for each child. This year we have introduced knitting, home craft club and knitting for the Lower Years, and ecology action team, crazy quizzers, ceramics club and a very popular gymnastics club for the Upper Years.
