Why St George's College?

Choosing the appropriate school for a child is one of the most important decisions that a parent will ever make. When parents visit this website and the School as part of that decision making process, our aim is to help them gather information and understand our approach to education and what we offer.

Whilst we aim to offer all our students a quality education, one student's experience is often very different to that of their classmates. This is because we acknowledge that each child is an individual with unique talents and abilities. Our role is to identify and develop these talents by providing them with every opportunity to achieve, whether it is in the classroom, on the sports field or on the stage. This is entirely in keeping with our mission statement and it is reflected in our students' diverse range of achievements, as shown on the results and news sections of this website.

We hope that by promoting Christian values, we will instil in every student a common respect and tolerance for others. Equally we recognise that a co-educational learning environment helps our students to achieve academically, as well as to prepare them for the challenges of life at university and in their careers.

Come and find out more at our next Open Morning on Saturday 24th September or book onto a forum.

Following the inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in December 2019 we are delighted that the College has been awarded excellent in all categories.
