Tudor life and times researched by History Club

With the return of a new year, it's the return of History Club at St George's Junior School.

Years 5 and 6 pupils who belong to the History Club have started the year by learning all about life in Tudor times. In the very first session of the new academic year, the children learnt all about how people lived and survived in the Tudor period.

As well as reading and listening to important information about the Tudors, the girls and boys were also given the opportunity to handle authentic Tudor artefacts, courtesy of Chertsey Museum, something they had a great interest in.

In the next workshop, the excited pupils were lucky enough to model some authentic Tudor clothing, again provided by Chertsey Museum. It was certainly an eye opening experience for all.
