The jury's out on Year 3 production 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'

On 16 and 17 March, Year 3 took to the stage at St George's Junior School to perform Roald Dahl’s Goldilocks and the Three Bears created by Helen MacGregor and Stephen Chadwick.

The musical, based on one of Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes, sees Goldilocks in court for her crimes against the three bears. Members of the Junior School Drama Club played the principal characters, the Prosecution and Defence teams, whilst the rest of Year 3 put in an amazing performance playing an all singing jury!

The production was a popular choice with everyone involved and with those that came to watch and the children performed this entertaining show with energy and enthusiasm.

Such was the positive response to the show that the cast were even encouraged to perform encores to the delight of the audiences.
