Swimming success at College's first ever gala

History was made on Saturday 20 January for St George's, as the College entered a team of students into its first ever competitive swimming gala!

The students travelled to the Surrey Secondary Schools Gala to compete and all of the swimmers from St George's put in strong performances, with lots of swimmers placing highly in their respective heats.

There was then more reason to celebrate for St George's as one of our Third Year students finished 3rd overall in the Intermediate 100m Butterfly race, whilst one of our Fifth Year students went one better and came 1st in the Senior 200m Individual Medley.

Well done to all of our swimmers on their success in the pool!
