Second Years learn about CAFOD during Study Day

On Wednesday 28 June the Second Years at St George's College met for a CAFOD study day with the aim to understand more about what it is CAFOD does and what their mission is.

The students explored different aspects of CAFODs work and mission throughout the day as they took part in a number of small workshops and a liturgy. By the end of the day the intended outcome for the students was to comfortably describe the work of CAFOD, to explain the meaning and importance of CAFODs mission and to reflect on how they could help and support CAFODs work.

This work was also designed to prepare the students for the start of their GCSE course and act as enrichment of work that they have already studied this term.
