Preparing an Indian meal is enjoyed by all

This week's Food Preparation Task for 4th Year students at St George's College taking their GCSE in Food Preparation and Nutrition is one of the favourites of the term and reads as follows:

1. Plan a range of dishes, using a variety of skills, from the Indian culinary tradition

2. Prepare, cook and present one main dish and at least two side dishes

Having been given the task, the boys and girls thoroughly enjoyed what they learned about the ingredients, especially Turmeric, as well as how to cook the food. Of course, the best part of the lesson was to taste what had been produced and it is true to say that not much was left over.
