Outstanding performance from Year 4 in 'Dragon Days' production

On Thursday 18 and Friday 19 January, Year 4 astounded audiences with their performance of a new musical called 'Dragon Days' at St George's Junior School.

The show, by Sue & Paul Langwadeby, was directed by Curriculum Leader of Drama, Mr David Lawson Lean with assistance from the Year 4 teachers. Musical direction came from Mr Alastair Hodgson, whilst Curriculum Leader of Art, Mrs Sara O’Connell, created the wonderful production set.

The lead roles were played by members of the Year 4 Drama Club but every member of Year 4 appeared on stage as villagers. All of the pupils worked hard to deliver an outstanding performance which included everything from a singing dragon to a dancing snow storm and a gruelling fitness instructor.

Everyone involved thoroughly enjoyed the production and the audiences were enthralled and entertained by the pupils' talents.
