Nursery children parade colourful Easter bonnets

Today (Wednesday 29 March) saw the return of the hugely happy and entertaining Easter bonnet parade at St George's Junior School with the Nursery children relishing the chance to show off their fabulously colourful Easter bonnets.

Cheered on by the rest of the Junior School pupils, as well as their parents who were beaming with pride, the Nursery boys and girls proudly paraded their homemade bonnets as they walked past The Ark and The Rainbow Room.

Some bonnets had sheep emblazoned on them, many were full of colourful flowers and some even had mini bunny rabbits and little chicks stuck to the tops. It was a wonderful spectacle.

This activity, along with a whole host of other special Easter related events, has helped the children to understand the Easter story.
