Lest we forget – St George’s Junior School remembers

Staff and pupils at St George's Junior School took part in a very special service to commemorate Armistice Day today (10 November).

As millions of others will be celebrating Remembrance Day tomorrow on the 11 November at 11am, the community at St George’s stood in silence today at 11am to remember and honour all those who have died in conflict.

Junior School Headmaster, Antony Hudson, led a brief service, before an emotional rendition of the 'The Last Post' was performed, as the children and staff stood in silence.
