Inter-House tennis serves up a treat

Teachers and parents alike were treated to a wonderful display of tennis on Thursday 11 May as boys from Year 4 and girls from Year 5 took part in the Inter-House Tennis Tournament at St George's Junior School.

On a hot and humid day, two members of each House from the Year 4 boys and Year 5 girls took part in the tournament. All of the Houses played against one another, resulting in some thrilling rallies and exciting points.

Both the boys and the girls played with a wonderful spirit and were constantly encouraging and praising one another after some lengthy rallies.

At the end of the tournament, the children gathered together to find out who had won. Both the Year 4 boys and the Year 5 girls played brilliantly and should be very proud of how they handled themselves. Well done to everyone that took part and congratulations to our House winners.

The results:

Year 4 boys: winners - EAGLES

Year 5 girls: winners - EAGLES
