Hockey players learn from the best in Olympic masterclass

Boys from the Under 14 and Under 15 hockey teams at St George's College, Weybridge were treated to a hockey masterclass on Saturday 4 March as two Great British Olympians came along to give them some tips.

Barry Middleton (current GB Captain and Triple Olympian) and Iain Lewers (Double Olympian) arrived early on Saturday morning to do some coaching with our youngsters and help them improve their hockey skills.

Barry lead the groups in an attacking exercise, to help improve dribbling, passing and shooting skills, whilst Iain lead the students in a defensive exercise to help improve their overall defensive game and learn how to best stop their opponents.

The boys were thrilled to take part in the coaching sessions and thoroughly enjoyed learning from two of Great Britain's best hockey players.
