Founder's Day celebrated at the Junior School

St George's Junior School had two wonderful celebrations on Friday 1 December in honour of Founder's Day.

Founder's Day celebrates St George's Founder, Constant Van Crombrugghe, and the Upper Years' pupils started the morning by celebrating Mass with Father Bill. Year 3 children led the service, whilst there was a very special performance from the Senior Orchestra who played the Hymn to St Joseph to open the Mass. Their performance was impeccable.

In the afternoon it was the turn of the Lower Years' pupils to celebrate this special occasion, with the 'Super Strings' group opening the service by playing a piece called Air.
