Christmas Book Fair: Thursday 23 and Friday 24 November 2017 - there's something for everyone

As the festive season fast approaches, the children at St George's Junior School have been getting a head start on their Christmas wish lists today by attending the Christmas Book Fair in the Junior School Library.

The Library has been transformed into a magical Christmas book shop, boasting a snowman, reindeer and Christmas tree - all made out of books - with the girls and boys thrilled to have the chance to find an early Christmas present and explore the fabulous range of books on offer.

The Christmas Book Fair this year takes place on Thursday 23 November and Friday 24 November, so there's still plenty of time this afternoon and tomorrow to go and pick out a new book to read over the Christmas period.

There's something for everybody to read as usual and some children have been so excited they have had to start reading their books in the Library right away!

A huge thanks to Usborne Books which sponsored the Fair again this year; it is always a wonderful event for all in attendance and a special treat for pupils in the festive season.
