Charitable Tutor Group announced as Georgians of the Week

This week's Georgians of the Week are the charitable Tutor Group 4SLH.

This year alone they have donated almost 50 person hours to the Salvation Army Foodbank, as well as countless tins; they have baked and sold cakes and used the monies to fund 5 microloans in LICs (low income countries) around the world; they made a considerable donation to the Red Cross Syria Relief Fund and many of them brought in items for Fr Martin’s 24 hour Grenfell Tower Appeal on Friday 16 June.

As well as this, once the students had finished enjoying their celebratory doughnuts and drinks on Mufti Day, they then helped Fr Martin sort out and organise the incredible donations for his Grenfell Tower Appeal from the Georgian family. St George's would like to say a huge thank you to those who donated to the appeal on Friday, it was a truly amazing response from the Georgian family and there is a picture below which shows just how generous everyone was with their donations to those that sadly lost their homes and loved ones.

Well done to Tutor Group 4SLH for constantly showing their Georgian spirit and supporting their local communities.
