A very Successful Family Fun Run

St George's held their very first Family 5 km Fun Run on Sunday 19 November.

Families, young and old together, with their beloved four legged friends running alongside, enjoyed a beautiful run / walk around the College's 100 acre site. The majority of the route took the participants through the woodlands, up 'Death Hill', around the athletics track, through more woods, around the 1st XV rugby pitch and then hockey pitches, which was then 'sort of' repeated.

All funds received for the run were donated toward the Activity Centre Campaign and St George's is really pleased with the total amount raised:

£1629

Thank you to everyone who participated. This was a really fun, and relaxed morning and St George's cannot wait to organise a repeat in the New Year.

Although this was a 'fun' run for the majority, here are the top 10 runners:

20:53 Arthur Owens - Current College Yr 2 Student
20:54 Phil Bader - College Parent
20:55 Rob Deacock - Current Member of Business Team
